Any reference to “Mentoring with Music” or “The Blessing Publishing House” or “Janeen Ferdinand” or "Winning at the Race of Life" or "Sammy Maloof" within the context of this Privacy Policy is intended, and shall be considered to be inclusive of each and all entities operated by "Mentoring with Music," "Janeen Ferdinand", "The Blessing Publishing House," including any of our affiliates.

 

WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?

When you purchase something from our site, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. This enables us to both fulfill and support the products and / or services you purchase.

When you browse our site, we may also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system so we can better improve the experience for all our users.

 

Email marketing: With your permission, we may send you emails about new products, free and premium content (like blog posts, usage of students photos, content articles, YouTube videos, free product offers, live event alerts, etc.), and special announcements.

 

Mobile: When you download or use apps created by us, or our subsidiaries, we may receive information about your location and your mobile device, including a unique identifier for your device. We may use this information to provide you with personalized content and location based interactions. Most mobile devices allow you to turn off location services. When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, order services, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase or service, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.

If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason (i.e.  photo usage, Daily emails, appointment confirmations, random communications concerning music, newsletter subscription, educational updates, course information and announcements), we will ask you directly for your expressed consent and provide you with an opportunity to withdraw your consent.

You may withdraw your consent at any time by responding with “unsubscribe” to the email we send.

DISCLOSURE

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service. 

IMPORTANT: We do not sell, rent or otherwise disclose your personal information to any third parties, including but not limited to advertisers, strategic partners or vendors. Again, we take your privacy very seriously.

 

DATA STORAGE

Our shopping cart solution is hosted and managed by WIX. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

 

Payment:

If you choose  to purchase products from our website, WIX is a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, they may or may not your credit card data. To our best knowledge, your information is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted. 

All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.

However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.

For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers.

In particular, remember that certain providers may be located in or have facilities that are located a different jurisdiction than either you or us.
